Are you sure it's just a 318iS ?? I don't know the specs of the car, but it looks fast for that kind of engine.

Anyway, nice hands! I would like to drive like that!  :good:

iS have 136ps stock, he have it chipped apparently. 140 pony's is powerful enough for e30 imo. with diff welded drifts are easy as walking

ROFLMAO!!!!

I've seen that guy... just a month ago in a trackday I went as an spectator... and it was AWESOME!!! he's a member of a E30 board my brother is also registered... crazy powerslides, especially considering the power of the 318is is not something mindblowing (can't imagine what this guy can do with a E30 M3 or something even more powerful) but he managed to keep the car sideways for a long time!! I know the welded diff helps... but it takes some skills to do that!! :good:

That is impressive car control. Can't really imagine what it is like to drive with a welded diff? It have to make the difference, because otherwise drifting that coll with that stock car on asphalt is very hard.

both wheels are turning exactly the same time so everyday driving in town is very tire consuming as in the turn one of your wheels is sliding. Guys that had welded diffs said that they drifted in every turn to minimize the damages on car and tires  I wanna have that on my car for a fun driving on circuits and airfields  engine upgrade is the first step thou

Haha, that's awesome. I thought you might at least know of the track.

Definitely skilled.. keeping that speed throughout the corners is just amazing!

Can't you install a diff with a lock. From some old Hiace? ;)

LSD's for e30 are quite expensive around 300-350€ and you have no garatee that it will not die next day(as they are VERY old) still they are sold instantly in e30 community, other possibility is buying racing KAAZ LSD but thats 1360,-UDS. Normal opened diff is 19€ and can be welded for same amount of money or less

If you want a diff... my brother is replacing the one he has on the 325i for a more sporty one (I think) so may be he could be interested in selling it to you... and the NS would be a god occasion

Just checked the prices dont know how heavy are bumpers are but shipping along it will be aproximately 250-300$. Bumpers in good condition might cost about 150-200$

Dani, is he going for the 4.10 LSD? The 3.73 LSD (usually in the 325is) might make your 318i too slow ;)

Damn bumpers are cheap over there, too bad about the shipping. There's a guy halfway across the country here that wanted to sell his for $800, but lowered his price to $500...

Not sure now, but I remember it was something like 5. something...... which is quite extreme he said :?

Something like 0-100kmh in 1.2 seconds and top speed of 96kmh

Ok... I see I was wrong (as usual lately) once again. I was refering to the gear ratios, not the LSD settings...
