Its damn loud now in revs over 3000rpm, not that dont like it but donno if thats a rattling chain or its cause of different camshaft is there and the cat is out  LOL I need to drive a stock iS to know the difference.

as long as its not the timing chain - have you already upgraded it to a hydraulic version?

Me want to have a nice video can you make one Alex? Maybe you can compare it with my stock iS in June but dont think that this will ever happen :(.

btw: is the whole mod legal in .cz? I mean even without upgrading the brakes, ....?

it is timing chain forsure... donno I have to have a ride in stock iS to see the difference.

MIHALS can make a vid when we meet next week with Dani, i dont have camera. And you sir continue to search for a good iS, it is somewere out there waiting for you ;)

Well to make it fully legal I need to pay to bmw importer the engine swap in papers its about 100€ maybe a bit more. I will do it a bit later. I have all disc brakes and suspention is partually Mtech so its ok.

Timing chain tensioner might be loose.. definitely want to get that fixed ASAP!

Has the lightened flywheel made a big difference? Thinking I should go for one when I install a new clutch.

More power, same weight, better mileage ;)

and keep in mind you save gas by accelerating up to cruising speed as fast as possible. I usually gun it in 1st and 2nd then throw it into 4th or 5th.

so you needed 10,7l / 100km with the M40 318i? :-o I need 7,5-9,0 (depending on my throttle position) :D

Hope you dont get a serious timing chain problem - Friend of mine restored it in  his iS and the parts alone were already quite expensive (~400euros)

btw: HAPPY BIRTHDAY MATE

I think your current 16in wheels in black already look great, no need to go for those 17in... if they were BBS and for a good price then I could reconsider my opinion but now, I'd say stick with the 16in
