Cool little race car. I remember you once speaking about updating to a newer version. Those plans still intact?

We started with a 2001-spec Clio, the one with a single exhaust on the left... and 2 years ago traded it for a 2004-spec, with the twin-exhaust :D To be honest, I don't really know if the 2004 is any faster than the 2001... but one thing is for sure - the 2004 was almost new when we bought it!

always nice to see your Clio Dani.

Have you thought about getting more sponsorship??

about 4 years ago, me and a buddy were looking into getting into rally, he kinda of backed out cause he started thinking too much about it and didnt want to put his life in such danger.

though, I did contact small companies and large companies. from, Pirelli, to Bildon Motorsports (specialize in VW racing parts), to local shops.

And there was one similar answer that they all gave me before getting any further "show us results and then we can talk".

so, you should maybe look a bit more into if you havent.

but in the mean time keep up the nice job on the track!!

Sponsors? It's mission impossible unless you're a relative or a close friend of the owner, or you work for them. We tried it... and failed.

you are talking about the smaller local shops right?

well, what about bigger companies, tires, Clio or Renault car parts, after market parts, race parts, fuel, brakes, anything to do with racing parts.

Our main sponsor is ARMANGUE:

http://www.armanguesports.com/

My team mate works for them, and we get some incredibly good disscounts. Via them, we also contacted Sparco and NGK, but all we got were some t-shirts and trousers for the paddock and 2 anoraks, and from NGK we got several sets of plugs... which were pretty good BTW, the top of the range plugs for racing cars. Hence we have Sparco and NGK tiny stickers on the car.

But all this was possible thanks to the contacts already stablished with the shop - we're somehow the shop's racing team afterall
