 oh man i am so SO jealous. I just "raced" a kart for the first time a few weeks ago, and it was just one of those pussy bumper karts at an amusement park. I'd kill to be able to do what you do on a regular basis

It's much more exhausting than I thought... I mean I can drive the Clio for 90 minutes (like the stints in the 24 hours race I took part some years ago) and get out of the car still quite decently... not to mention a 25 minutes races as the ones I compete in... but after just 6-7 laps flat out with the Rotax, I couldn't even feel my arms or my hands... and I just did 3 7-laps stints this afternoon! :nutz:

Oh yes, I drove karts in the past, and especially when you are not used to them, it's incredible how they can beat you down very quickly!

True. You always started pretty quickly and agressive... your arms reacted at your impulses, small corrections here and there... but after 6-7 laps, your arms are so fucked, that they don't even "correct" anything, they just flow, they just go with the wind... LOL! I definitely need to get fit as soon as possible... or may be I'm just getting old :P

The Kart:

Other photos from yesterday: Schumacher testing his shifter kart , and a guy driving a kart signed by Marc Gene, the Ferrari F1 tester... he's also a member of the kart track as far as I've been told, so is Pedro De La Rosa. Would be awesome to share the track with them

Could have swore I already postd a reply here the other day..

Nice shots Dani, and good to hear both you and the kart are getting a work out :P

Karting is seriously the best way to exercise, hands down. I wish I had unlimited access to a close track, I'd go 3 times a week and would never need to do any other work outs.

Not my best driving I have to admit... those were the last 2 laps of the original set of wheels - bad for good laps, good for drifting   :nutz:
