Volkswagen Aktiengesellschaft's Salzgitter Engine Plant.This is where all W8's, W12's, W12 Twin Turbo's and W16 Quad Turbo's are made

look at the Veyron crankshaft!.. :shocked:

I guess this is where they also built the engine I have on my Meriveyron... :mrgreen:

Everything is so clean and tidy and well-organized... very german I'd say! :P

That engine is a monster. Looks almost as if it belongs in a huge truck or something. I like it. :)

IMO Italians are not very relaxed at work, but I also liked the Ferrari factory maybe more. Those trees inside the factory were cool! :good:

Thanks for the link Skaala  :) I don't remember how much the Veyron's engine weights ? I have 300 kgs in my head for the gearbox and transmission alone but I am not sure  :?
