MR2cialago
« on: 18-May-2008, 17:15:49 »
First time I've seen a kit based on an MR2.  So far as kits go, it's not too bad, it's actually pretty decent.  But why do the kit guys always toss on something stupid like that ridiculous wing and sunroof?  I give it a C+ -->  for kits...that's pretty good.

From Craigslist LA:

Lamborghini Murcielago REPLICA 2007 built on a 1991 Toyota Mr2 TURBO Engine. Stick Shift with only 100k miles. One of a kind car just like real deal looking inside and out, a total head turner. Sound system, alarm, rims, spoiler,AC etc. Registered as Toyota. It is a daily driveing car. Absolutely no problems with the car.

Any questions please call me at (714)720-6391, Mark.

Sorry, but that's lame...

I'd rather just have an MR2.

Completely agree. Ok... I know I won't be able to afford a Murci anytime soon, but I'd just keep dreaming about owning one, rather than driving that ugly piece of crap

Wow.. it seems all the "good" kits are based off the MR2. Ever seen the F355 MR2?

Better MR2 than Miatas... at least the Pontiac is mid-engined

If it wasn't for that rear wing and for people who doesn't really know the car, they might think it is a real Murci !!

I haven't but I think I'd rather see an MR2T than the standard stretched Fiero with an auto trans in a sports car replica.

Not like I would ever want to have a replica like this or ruin a MR2.. but its funny to see how well the MR2 can pull off kits like these.

I've always wanted a MR2 Turbo.. Every time I see one I kick my self for throwing MR2 money on a E30..
