I'm on a 15 day trial for on a 12Mbps connection and within that period I discovered that it aint worth $120/month. It's cable internet so I have to share the wealth with everyone else.

We can still pay up to $150 a month here and u still only get 150Gb download limit...

That's bad, really bad. And Belgium is allready a country with high internet & phonecosts when you count the GB's you get...

Here it's something like 40€ for 3Mbps... if you are lucky enough to get 3 REAL Mbps

On the "3Mbps" connection I hit 328KB/s all the time.

On the "12Mbps" connection I will hit 1.46MB/s rarely at times.

My brother's the deciding factor here seeming he needs ultra low ping times for WoW and Warhammer. So he's opting for the 6Mbps plan seeming we rarely hit 1.46Mbps it appears to be a great compromise.

What I hate about cable is the sharing of bandwidth which ADSL to my experience affords me protection.

In my house...(town near to Barcelona) I pay 29 euros (around 36$) monthly for a 10Mbps...
When I tested download speed was 9,81Mbps and upload 0,47Mbps...

I believe this is good speed&price because my fathers in a litlle town near to Tarragona pay 41 euros (around 50$) for a 3Mbps...and they have download speed of 1-1,5Mbps!!

It has slightly improved since the last time

Funny how you don't notice how much upload speed matters until your ISP divides it in half because of a technical issue ... had to upload an entire forum database at 20 ko/s
