It was -6 in the hangar this morning. But clear sky's, no wind, so it's nice.
Clio hadn't driving since tuesday, and had little trouble starting. Well it turned over directly, ran 2 seconds and fell out. Probably the diesel that was still in the pipes that got a bit gelly because of the cold.

What is the temperature limit for the diesel you're using? Don't you have any winter type diesel that can withstand cold better? Winter diesel here works to -31°C, they have added all kind of extra substances.

we've had some snow in Rotterdam, only ont in the neighbourhood where I live... but yesterday i went to an old part of the city which was really beautiful, but also very cold... Today it's gonna stop freezing again

but the sun is shining so the bit of snow / frost that's still visible is beautiful

Sunrise in Rotterdam: 0848, sunset: 1633, so 7 hours and 45 minutes...

The diesel in the tank is fine, but I think it were only a few 10cc that were a little thicker then normal in the fuellines.

I tanked shell diesel extra last time...

That's where it appears if the diesel can't stand the cold. It clots in the filter.

-5°C and we still have the snow from last week.

Since one week its always foggy in the morning luckily I can now sleep as long as I want to.

^I'm just wishing that it would be bloody cold, but isn't. Last night I set a bucket of water to the balcony to make a ice lantern, it was -4°C. Now in the morning it is 0°C

Sun raising at 5AM and setting at 23h... now that was really awesome!!

days were so freaking long that when we had to wake up at 5AM to go to the rally stage it wasn't really that "early" 'cause there was some light... and arriving at 22h at the cottage also seemed earlier than it actuall was.

Made for a strange feeling I have to say...

No, if the air temperature is below zero, it doesn't melt at all. All the ice that melts because of the candle light, freezes back right away. Now I can't prove you that because it's not below zero

Yes, that's the time of the year when we can have our revenge to those Swiss people

It doesn't get that dark in midsummer even after the sun has set, because the twilight time last all trough the night. Ofcourse that kind of midsummer is very short at this level, but in Lapland they can "enjoy" longer

it's snowing as hell, and it's around 0' Celcius, and while waiting in a junction today, the Q7 started sliding sideways, and I hit a curb on the right rear wheel. I BROKE A RIM!

I'll have to see if I can get a new one shipped from Stavanger on monday.
