I suppose the spring time has arrived to Finland. +2,5°C already early morning. Melting all snow will take some time though.

Last monday we had the first snow in Barcelona since... 1993?! And the second worse since... 1962?! As you can see in the pics, it's not that much... but that was enough to cause massiva chaos in the area, because of many people driving with summer tyres and no snow chains ...

Following morning it was all dry and clean (in the city; the rest of the region still has problems)...

snow chains wont help in these conditions - only thing that will happen is that they brake very easiliy because I hardly see snow on these pictures

There wasn't much snow in Barcelona... but once you went up in the mountains right next to Barcelona (200m high mountains... or should I say "hills") things got much worse for the drivers. Many people left their cars abandoned in the middle of the street when they could drive any further... therefore the snow plows couldn't do the job.

Following a very cold and snowy winter (the way I like it) spring is not in a hurry to come (not the way I like it).

It's gotten warm a couple of times, snow has almost gone awa and then it's just gotten cold again. Bah! I had about ~70cm of snow on my balcony, got rid of that and was hoping to start enjoying having a balcony for the first time in my life, but it's been pretty constantly been covered by a small layer of snow ever since.

Bah, it -7 outside now, mind you it's 12am, but still.

Weekend full of making puddles and playing with wet snow passed. Temperature was above 0 even during night and it rained quite a lot. Summer is there somewhere waiting!

At the moment -2°C and cloudy.

^^^^^^This is very shitty your weather since couple weeks.

Since 3 weeks we have no rain and the temperature is around 24ºC to 33ºC. The entire Quebec is burning right now because it's too dry. Before today I didn't care because those fires give a lot of job to my clients who operate Helicopters far in the North. But today even in Downtown Montreal we are able to smell the smoke.

I'm with you Midnite. I miss the warmth. We have gotten around +18 during the days but I'me freezing in the morning at +8 °C

Have to update the situation because things have changed from thre pevious mail. This morning when I woke up the temperature was already +21,9°C at 6.30.
It's been unusually warm (some would say hot) for over a week and it is still getting hotter when they are forecasting temperatures of +35°C. Bring it on!

I don't suffer the heat wave because I have the A/C in my appartment, car and at the job.

Who need A/C, the winter is just few months away and then it's going to be cold again.

too hot since 1 week, +38° C and humitidy 75%, i'm only in my office, because there we have our AC's on the whole day.
