Mercedes SLK gets a facelift

...and they've ruined it again. I really liked the look of the new SLK, but this looks pretty bad again. Seems like theyve tried to make it looks even more "macho", but completely ruined it in the process.





The only thing I like is the improvement in interior quality. Looks less plasticy. :P

Thanks for the pics, but the new frontgrill  :bad:

I'm lucky, my mother has the "old one", it looks not better this new facelift.
We had both in our family.

i don't see too much of a difference, to be honest...aside from the lower vents being divided.

it's not too bad....although the SLK doesn't look as good these days as when it was launched a few years ago.....it's lost its charm.

it lost its charm the 2nd some rich bitch bought one and drove around at 10MPH under the speed limit!!

LOL. well this one isn't as girlie as the last one, IMO....i see many more men driving the 2nd gen SLK than the 1st one.....which i never saw a man driving!

That looks much better indeed. Guess AMG packs are gonna be rally popular now, as it looks like ass otherwise. :D

I am not a big fan of the SLK, but I think the newer ones look heaps better than the first one, I agree the face lift doesnt do much for it, the AMG package saves it, but not something I would pay for having in my driveway.....

To be honest, I don't know how that is different from the previous one? :blush: I just remember that I liked the earlier one, but those pics at least doesn't make the facelifted version look good. Those headlamps are ugly to start with, but the whole nose looks weird! :?

I always loved the SLK55 AMG - even more when Shinigami took me back to my hotel when we met at Geneva 2 years ago... it was a short, rainy 10 minutes ride... but what a sound it had!! :wink:

The regular SLK looks quite bad though :lol:
