A couple of years ago I saw a demonstration of a Veyron at Spa, the person doing the driving was an ex racing driver. He was driving it very fast, but after 2 laps had to come into the pits with smoking brakes...

It'd be cool to see how much effect an extra 60-80-100kmh speed into every braking area for a full lap of the ring has on other cars.. Just to see whether there'd be any difference in their braking packages by the end of a lap or if its just the Veryons problem

Very cool link! At first I didn't know how this guy had such great access, but then I realized he was buying one... 

The brakes show that no matter how much technology the engineers poured into this car, there is still no way of escaping the detrimental effects of high weight combined with enormous speed.
