Touristenfahrten Nurburgring 17-08-2008
« on: August 20, 2008, 10:07:20 pm »
Sunday at the ring, didn't see that many special cars. There was a F430 Scuderia, but I didn't see it on the track.
The pics:
Porsche 911 GT3 RS

You gotta be joking...

There were 2 Vipers on US plates driving around, fantastic noise, were driven quite hard.

Nice rally Porsche?

Wheel lifting

Gallardo

It's brother, the Audi R8, doesn't look good in grey.

Looks better in white.

Lotus 2 Eleven, fantastic cars (passenger???)

Amazing photos once again - Seriously great stuff.. although it can't be too hard when you're only 3 hours away from the 'RING YOU BASTARD!.. sorry.. little jealous.

I drive over 400 miles just about every weekend going back in forth between Boston and New York.. and on top of that I have about a 40 mile (round trip) commute to work monday through friday.

Excellent photos. The Viper on black kinda looks dull, doesn't fit the ACR

Very nice pics

Sunday at the ring, didn't see that many special cars.

Maybe there were not that many special cars because of the "local" autosport events like the 1000km race and the WRC Germany.

Could be.
Just read on one of the ring forums that one off the Vipers was driven by Tom Coronel (Dutch racing driver). No wonder it was bloody fast.

I shoot Crossblade and his driver at 1000 Miglia this year!!  :D  I think he has done throughout the race with the Smart! A myth!  :D
Cool shots, expecially Vipers  :)

That's the 2-Eleven that was present during the Rebel Run and that only did a couple of laps while we were there, right?! Looks fantastic! Those Vipers must be ACR versions if I'm not mistaken... and that Rothmans' 911.. what a sexy catch with the white Fuchs rims
