Daily Driver - Audi A6 Avant

Since i have to drive a lot more to get to work i decided to buy a bigger car with already a lot of km's on the clock in good condition. i bought this fully equipped Audi A6 Avant from a friend which originally bought it brand new for its company.
Audi A6 Avant quattro
2.8l engine
full leather
1999 model
I've forgot to shoot a real custom shot but i guess the copy of the papers is fine too
the car really has a lot of space. the people sitting behind me still have a lot of space for their legs. the ride is pretty comfortable even after long rides. the original radio was crap so i've changed it with a newer one where i can use an usb stick. i'm tired to burn cd's...
but actually i'm thinking about a change to a diesel which makes more sense if you're driving about 800km's a week. the audi needs about 10,5l/100km instead of 5 with a diesel... we'll see..

Nice adquisition!!! you must do lot of road cause my little getz drinks 10 liters in the city... always pushing down of course, but still is a nice consumption for a 2.8 engine!!!
Congratulations dude !!

Those seats look really comfortable!
The 2.8 V6 is not really a good choice for an every-day car... especially with 800km done every week. A diesel makes much more sense that's for sure
Is this the 170hp version of the engine, also on Matteo's A4 2.8 V6? my dad's Passat uses the 193hp version and it feels a bit too lazy when you want to rev it... but on the other hand is very relaxing to drive in low-revs

it's the 193hp version. for sure the car is no racer and needs it's time to get speed but since i'm driving most of the km's on the speedway i don't care. safety and comfort are more important in this case. i first thought about buying an RS6 since the prices went down but the fuel consumption is too high for daily use with so much km's a day. so i went for the rational variant.
few weeks ago i drove with a friends BMW 528, same year then the audi, down to italy. fuel consumption is much better from BMW, had an average of 7,4 liters... for sure the quattro needs a bit more but not that much...
but i'm pretty sure i'll change to a diesel soon, guess you'll see soon pics from a diesel engined cars in here

Nice car mate....
I have owned 5 of that A6 my self.
Bouth the 2.5 tdi and 2.7 Bi-Turbo.
Very nice cars with extreme comfort to eat miles
Good Luck looking for a diesel A6.
Watch out for the v6 2.5 TDI. Thats a very crapy engine.
Very expensive to maintaine an service.
