All newer cars have some sort of innerspace of about 2cm around the windows that extends the time and force needed to brake the window from the outside. From the inside it's still fairly easy to brake it.

^ so if I understand it correctly, the room for vibration makes the window more impact-resistant (bend not break sort of thing)... so if you have 1 guy leaning/pusting against the window and then have a 2nd guy hit it, it should break?

bunch of morons. I am sure had they gotten a hammer and nailed the glass in the corner it would of broke much sooner.

So was that just some car on the street? If it'd be mine and I'd see a bunch of morons cracking on it, I'd round up all my friends and make sure they never try that shit again. :P

No, they're just that stupid.

Using one of those wrenches to break the window? haha.. you can see it spin around after it bounces off the window.

And then going to punch it? At least they were able to find a decent sized rock..

To get into the car I know about alot of others ways better than this, but I have also cracked the glass of various cars and way more easily than this.....

That must be some light armored glass. Glasses have been designed to shatter with impact, but just does gets dented. Funny video!

thats what I am thinking. the faster the glass breaks the less damage it can actually do to someone. if they hit thier head and it bounces back they can risk a concussion and it doesnt take much to cause a concussion, which happens to be a bit worse then a few scratches from broken glass!!

the best are those little glass punchers....they look like a screwdriver, you put it up the the glass, and just push it in...and it shatters the glass, while keeping it intact...then you just push the glass in and it falls...very quiet too ;)

really cool stuff...used by alot of "spies" i'm sure...LOL

Let me get this straight. Is that the normal glass or some kind of special one? I could figure what they were saying or why they were trying to break the window.

The car had a laminated glass option, meant to prevent break ins, that's why it wouldn't break, nonetheless those guys are huge morons

Do you remember that video of British police stopping some speeder and then trying to ge t him out of the car by smashing the window. They had difficulties too, but nothing like in this video. I can't believe that to be standard glass.
