There's a new application that has been put on sale today: it's called DSLR Remote... and as the name suggests, it's a remote control for Canon cameras (Nikon coming soon, they say) based on your iPhone. Problem? You need a computer connected to a wi-fi net... so it's only useful for domestic photography I guess.

The "introduction price" is 7.99€. I've bought it straight away first because of the price (remote controls are a bit more pricey) plus you can do a ton of things with it: you could even set intervals to do time-lapse videos of the sky for example :)

I've been hearing about this new app for some days now... and I'm curious. I'm gonna try it this evening at home and I'll tell you how it works... if I manage to make it work :P

Here's a link to the place where I found it:

Got some cool stuff lately:

Proporta.com's screen cover, mirror effect... of course the touch functions aren't affected and when the screen is on, you see through it.. and it also protect it obviously!

Back protection/decoration from gelaskins.com, hard to apply, but pretty cool to stand out in a world full of iphones!

It's not the best phone out there... but the community and the insane amount of apps avaiable makes the difference IMO

I was basically waiting for A2DP bluetooth.. I'm glad that 3G S is faster, has a better battery, and shoots video. Apple has done with the iPhone what Microsoft has done with Windows... they're on their way to dominate the market, and its proven with the number of developers on board.

The iPhone the closet thing to the mobile all-in-one gadget I've been waiting for!

I'm just disappointed they didn't put an FM receiver/transmetter, it's really useful for me. But VGA videos is a welcome addition. They maybe could have put HD vids like Samsung is going to ...  ;) Anyway, I think that I will update when it will be possible.

Misteriously I'm not feeling an urge to update my iPhone, while many of said updgrades will be available with OS3, and the extra features included in the "S" are not something I desperately need or use.

The 17th (or 19th?!) I'll upgrade to the OS3 obviously, but not sure I'll get a 3GS... still... the longer battery charge would be cool.
