I managed to get back into my imageshack account which still has the pics of my car when i first got it at the end of 2005 (back on JW). I was living in Louisiana at the time and managed a ton of fun in the little thing despite having a rusted out fuel tank that constantly shoved crap through the filter and clogged up my injectors, and a Frankenstein fuel pump that wouldn't pick up fuel under braking if i had under a 1/4 tank Thumbs Down

I've definitely got my money out of it ($200 purchase price). 2 SCCA autocrosses and a 110mph blast through the backroads of Houston (Sameerrao might still have some pics of that) and it's still running. Did have to replace the engine April of 07 due to the head gasket letting go (common issue with Toyota's of this era). I do have other plans for the car once I buy a newer vehicle (www.24hoursoflemons.com), but at this point I need it to last me another couple of years.

Currently I've got 171,000 miles on the chassis which I think there were 122K when I bought it.

Hahah, awesome dude, that's the definition of 'beater'! Thumbs Up

It's pretty funny when you can truthfully say you've spent more on fuel than what you paid for the actual car. Laugh

Yoda lives! My Dad recently traded in our RAV4, which was essentially a lifted Corolla with All-trac. It was far from a good condition, but that engine would never quit... gotta love how well these cars will take a beating.

This car lives at 70mph. Don't know how many revs it's turning, but it sees redline quite a bit. Having a spare engine helps a lot too MrGreen

My little Toyota died late this summer, hope yours holds 31 years as well.  Thumbs Up

(PS - mine will be resurrected in due time.  )
