+1, thanks dood! I guess this would be the typical opinion of a non-DIY'er but, I can see why you didn't want to do this yourself. Plus like you mentioned earlier, for resale purposes, F-car buyers like to know the car had been serviced by a pro. Now I can see why!!

There were some "shortcuts aka weird SHIT aka what were they thinking" items done by one the previous owner/ his mechanic that James has found and is in the process of fixing. One includes cutting a small part of the subframe - perhaps to facilitate in the car belt/gearbox change. I doubt you would find that out in a PPI though. The gearbox fill plug was also buggered up.Thus this service is fixing most / all the bad stuff and setting a proper baseline for the future. That's why I am getting the service done at a proper shop with knowledgeable eyes and hands working on it.
