Sudden urge for new wheels...

WHY ARE BBS SO EXPENSIVE!? :cry: :cry: :cry:

found this on the interweb


these with some Toyo R888 would have been perfect for the ring :snap:

these BBS LeMans in 8,5x18 5x130 et52 are around 10.000+ euros here I think.

For some strange reason :roll: I went to search also for some BBS just to be shocked about their price. I have no experience with wheels or their prices so I was disappointed. I try to check what they cost in here, but I doubt they are any cheaper.

Definitely find a pair in Germany! I would if it wasn't such a bitch to ship them here.

Trying to find a nice pair of BBS RS001's for the E30. I like LM's but I they don't have enough a lip IMO.

Something happened to your Porsche wheels? The BBS LM are also one of my fav BBS wheels... I prefer the CH's to be honest, but they just don't look right in old cars like your RS2 :)

I've also looked at a cheaper alternative, think I can get four of these for around 1300 euros. I've been looking to have an extra set of wheels with Toyo R888 tires to use when going to the ring.

I like the new 997 wheel design, but I think they are to modern for my '94 :)

The problem with finding some is that I need 4 front wheels, Porsche wheels sets are always with a lot wider rear rims, and the RS2 need 4 of equal width. Normally they come in 8,5*18 and 10x18. I need 4 in 8,5 with an offset of 52 which is not that common  :roll:

I quite like those wheels, especially if you plan on painting them just as you did with your current set :) in fact, those are the wheels I'd probably take if I had to pick ones from the Porsche line-up :wink:
