Dreams: stunning unique cars exhibition!!
« on: November 29, 2008, 09:53:55 pm »
A friend informed me some weeks ago about this exhibition the city of Torino put together. As soon as I got the list of the cars, I knew I had to visit, and some days later, I had the chance to drive there. Bloody hell it was worth the trip! More than 50 unique cars, mostly concepts, in a great, spacious setting, almost no public at all... perfect! And I can't really another expo like this in the past few years!

If you happen to be in the Torino area in the next weeks, just be aware it is still open!

Click any preview to be taken to the full 126 high-res pics update! Enjoy!

You'd think the place would be packed. How many people owned the concepts there? Surely that wasn't just one man's collection.

Well I'm speechless! What a lineup!

I wish more of designs like these would be in production. Though then again, maybe they'd be to common! :P

Sorry about the multiple posting. Had some troubles with my connection in St. Moritz :)

No tripod, just some more ISO, 400 I think, and most of the time between 1/60 and 1/100 (F4.5)

You'd think the place would be packed. How many people owned the concepts there? Surely that wasn't just one man's collection.

It was a surprise to discover so few ppl inside! And well, many cars were from the italian Museo dell'Automobile I think, while some others came from private collections, but no idea exactly...

Apparently it can, and the plate said the little Shwarowky crystals actually help in focusing sunlight onto the solar cells!

That's one cool exhibition! Too be honest, I didn't know most of the cars. The F Mythos and the Modulo are supercool, especially the later... it's so 70-ish! Love the Birdcage too, saw it at Geneva when it was presented... and IMO it's one of the coolest designs of the last 10 years! There are some funny micro-cars for the city... and some sexy machinery too, like this Fiat:

Definitely worth the trip! :good:
