The 912 wasn't used a lot during the past year. Just 4'000 km (2'450 miles) that required 390 liters of petrol. Average consuption was up to 10.32 l/100 km (22.79 MPG), showing that flat 4 wasn't that well optimized, considering modern Porsches doesn't burn much more fuel actually.
The car had to pass the technical inspection in 2009 and had two major problems when the regulator broke, taking with it the battery that almost exploded and when the rear axle developped a strange problem and had to be fixed with some parts changed. Total costs, petrol aside, 2'150 swiss francs (1'450 euros) and 0.70 swiss francs per driven km...

Damn! Don't know how I missed this one. GREAT LOOKING CAR TT!
After selling the RSA, I toyed with the idea of picking up a 912. I don't really like old cars, but if I did one, it would have to have a lot of style. 912 qualifies. I like all the chromoe on the bumpers and it just has so much style. I think maybe, when I have more time, maybe a nice 912 will be in my garage.
Congrats!
