"It is finished"
« on: 23-Dec-2008, 18:22:44 »
Requested delivery 30.3.2009
Car: Audi A4 2.0 TFSI Quattro Business
Color:Lava Grey Pearl Effect
Price: Way too much to say it here

Having mixed feelings at the moment. A bit afraid of the high price, but what's done, it's done.

Yeah, I just hope my company does well in the future and I should be okay. I drove the Avant with 2.0TFSI and 6-speed manual today and it's damn impressive. I generally hate nannying systems, but the computer suggested to yank in 6th gear at 70 km/h with revs less than 1500rpm and after I did it, there was no problems cruising smoothly. Torque. :good:

Heh, I know exactly what you are going through.. it will all go away once you take that first long drive in your new A4!

Congrats, I have no plans on getting a brand new car anytime soon ;)

And funny how you mentioned having torque.. I myself have always been used to Toyota 4 cylinders.. the jump up to a BMW inline 6 was a big difference, specifically not having to rev the piss out of the engine just to get it moving

I'm really waiting for the first decent drive. I test drove a brand new car today and I didn't want to rev it to higher than 4000. And because the peak power of the engine is waiting there after 4300 rpm I'm really keen to really feel it on a good dry asphalt road. :)

Man that's awesome! Congrats!

I think you couldn't have made a better choice, the new A4 looks like a great car in its class! What a looker too!

Cool to see you finally going for the car you really wanted after trying to decide between a load of other options! :good:

I followed the decision process without a single comment, sorry, but it's not time to congratulate you on the deal. Although not interested in modern cars at all, it's always exciting when a member buy something new! And thank god you went for a proper engine :)

I read that there's a typo and "not" should be "now". Or? :?
