That's sooo cool! Okay, so I knew the Esprit was small, but DAMN, the 599 looks like a monster next to it! :nutz:

I love the new shots of the Esprit, TT!

Indeed the Ferrari looks huge  but it's a 612 not a 599 ;) I don't know if there's a height difference between 612 and 599? Anyway your lotus is absurdly low  :good:

I wonder if there's any TAU member in the magazine - it was plenty of us there :)

The Esprit came home at the end of February, after a long wait. Till the end of the year, it covered almost 7'000 km (4'350 miles), using 763 liters of petrol and averaging a 10.93 l/100 km (21.52 MPG).

The car was in good condition but needed some job to be done to fix the cooling system and oil ducts, several leaks, electric cables... I also had to buy the lower part of the rear bumper that was missing at first, paint it and have it installed. All in all that equates to almost 4'500 swiss francs (3'050 euros) and 0.82 swiss francs per km driven.
Despite the high running costs, the car proves now to be pretty reliable, and it still took me to Montecarlo and back home (almost... got stranded 15 km from home...).
It's not an easy car to drive, nor very quick, but it can sure turn lot of heads!!
