It has a close gearbox, so the top speed is not so impressive, I think not even 200kmh, the first gear is left-down, Compomotive wheels in 16", Recaro seats, 122000 kilometres, re-sprayed, Koni suspension, exhaust....... it's a dream come true! :nutz:

Next? carbon admission for the Rebel Run! :good: :drive:

Pictures will not do justice. We need video and high quality sound!

Congrats Nachi.. must be a dream come true! Prices for E30 M3s in good condition here are getting ridiculous. Even if I sold both of my cars I don't think I'd be able to buy one.

wow now thats something to be proud of :-o. Im thinking about putting mine in a white foil also and then
adding the M stripes + Warsteiner dtm Sponsoring stickers + white BBS stripes but first I think I have to sort out the
major problems.

Can you post some more infos? Engine? How did you find that car? looks like it is in really good condition.

The first gear down is something that is a bit unusual first but after some K´s you got it. Will you use the M for racing or just for street use?

Just came back from the first testdrive... and the car feels just great. It's not as tailhappy as we could have expected, probably because of some utterly wrong tyre pressures... but the chasis felt really composed and the engine kicked all the way to 7500rpm

This saturday we'll have a proper shakedown, we're doing a little excursion with some friends for some of the best roads in Catalonia (ex-WRC stuff)... should be fun

Now my bro is a bit ill and aleady went to bed (I think he was just overexcited) :bad: ;)

It's one of the first E30 M3, the one with 200hp and no catalyser, from 1987. 122K km on the clock, which is quite decent for a car like that. The price was really good, especially considering that the car had quite a few of the things that my brother wanted in a E30 M3: Recaro seats, Compomotive wheels (althogh these are 16in and he wanted them in 17in), short gear-ratios, first gear left-down, just for the coolness of it , Koni suspension, the car was actually maintained at JESS Sport, the same place where he bought the E30 325i... so he already had some info on the car; it has been re-sprayed... so well, pretty much what he was dreaming about

It's gonna be used for the street, that's why he's keeping the 325i (still to be finished though  :bad:).

Condition looks pretty good, next week we'll carry a more comprehensive inspection at our little workshop... but for the price he paid, I think he couldn't have asked for more :)

That's the only car I miss in your White Collection

And sure, that's gonna be the ride for the Rebel Run 2009. Only problem is the short-ratio 'box... with a top speed of 190kmh or so... cruising at 140kmh at 4000rpm  the exhaust is different from the standard one, a bit more noisy... and that's gonna be a pain in the ass to drive all the way up to Germany... not to mention the air-con is disconnected for performance reasons - geeks!!

But yay, the Rebel Run is the first thing in my brother's Things to do with the M3 list

The interior is black, and has been rebuilt not so long ago. It looks pretty cool actually, with some CF-wannabe details that are a bit ricey but still interesting  (I like them, my brother doesn't). The Recaro seats are truly great.

As for the prices... they rocketed 5-6 years ago, but after the crisis, they seem to have dropped a bit, as it's case with this one

Vids and photos will come next week :)

Hello guys

Congratulations Nachi for the new adquisition, I have already known your taste about cars (you and Dani), and once more you havent dissapointed with the last purchase.

Although I love a 100% genuine car (except the suspension and perhaps the exhaust system), naturally the car looks inmaculate and impressive.

Enjoy yourself with the new car for many years.

Ive already told Dani that probably I wont go to Barcelona on saturday in order to do a little excursion, but see what happens. It deppens on the car´s shape (I bought a new car two days ago and it will be checked on friday), and the money as well because only in december Ive spent the whole car, the parties, the insurance, the taxes, Ill pay for the car´s whole checking on friday, Ill pay for the car´s alarm next monday, and so on. See what happens anyway

What a night! And what a car! You know, when you hear it's snowing quite hard (for our latitudes)... and you have an M3 sitting on your garage... it was really hard to resist such temptation! :)

Anyway it wasn't as bad as one could imagined. The roads were more wet than anything else.. . but still slippy enough to have fun, especially if you went off the "marks" It's a road just above La Garriga, where I live, and my brother knows it like the back of his hand. It was such a unforgetable moment! In 28 years I've never seen such an amount of snow in my place... we're 250m above sealevel so you can imagine :)

And well... first there was the rondabout. Great fun. The photos... with pretty much zero light and no flash (impossible to use in such conditions anyway)... didn't turn out that bad. Using ISO 800 and a 1/50 shutter speed... I think I'm quite happy with the result :)

We shot some more pics the other day, on a dry sunny day... but I just had to post these first
