Thanks dani! I always wanted a first gen 911 and it was definitely worth it. And the 912 feels even more sepcial honestly.

I often talk to people bashing Porsches on different levels. Saying they aren't as special as other cars, or that they are too common in Switzerland to interest them. Apart from the fact the two I've got aren't really the fashion victim's latest incarnations, but damn, they should really try out a 911. It is such a perfect car in many ways, that's it's just natural ppl turn toward them as they can offer everything you need from a sport car in a single package. They don't have a real sould like an Italian car can have, but drive one and you'll get hooked forever as there is some magic in them, definitely!

Sadly not, as I don't want to pay extra, and rarely go pick new plates in person. And don't want to bother my mechanic with it. By chance, the Fulvia has my birth year in the plate (79), the 964 has it's built year (90), but the 912 has just a plain boring plate...

I missed this topic until now. TT, those pics are fantastic! The scenery is just amazing and I love that you are not afraid to drive this classic when there is snow on the ground.  :good:

Hehe, thanks. I actually do exactly the opposite as your regular classic car owner...

Most owners just use their cars during summer week-end while I take them out very often in winter, when snow prevent me to use the bike, or when I need to visit clients with some stuff, ence needing luggage space...

But it's so much funnier to be the only classic car around in such days :)

This week for instance I need the car every day for work, so I keep driving the Fulvia around in Lugano (the mechanic is working on the 912 to get it ready for its inspection), and you just realize such cars were just driven in winter 40 years ago like you drive your modern car today, so, why the hell should we keep them stored in a heated garage during the cold months? It looks totally silly to me!
The Fulvia (and same goes for the Isetta, 126 or 912 as far as I see), works perfectly if used on a daily basis, always starting in a fraction of a second and keeping running smoothly. Only trouble with old cars is that the heater doesn't really produce much heat, but hell, always better than my Ducati :)

very nice car MaTTeo, the white color was some years ago maybe a bit old and strange, but today white is the new design.
very classic car with the old porsche soul - congrats.
