MY (wife's) 2005 Acura MDX
« on: 02-Jan-2008, 08:29:06 »
Bone stock except for the light bar and Hellas.  It's got the navi and entertainment package with the DVD player and a small flip down screen for the rear passengers (handy for the kid).  I tried talking my wife into getting the Audi S6 Avant when I still had my B5 S4, but she wanted a truck.  So, we got the MDX (basically a Honda Odyssey minivan with a different body).  Rides and drives like a car with good gas mileage (19mpg mixed driving).  Unfortunately, that made me have to sell my S4 for the S6, but oh well.  Here it is:

Woot! Another Acura owner on this board...I thought I was the only one haha

I've always liked the MDX, it has a very subtle and understated design but it looks so damn good!  :D

Those Hella lights looks quite cool... make the car less of a urban SUV

You have only one kid and that huge car? ;) I mean, I've parked next to Honda Odyssey and it's huge compared to my people carrier.
Well, what I have learned that there's never really too much space. :good:

The  lights look pretty good on it, but you should get blue bulbs in the extra lights as well.

Overall I'm not too excited about this car, but then again I don't get excited about SUV's in general. :) Sounds like a good car for the family though. I wish my dads cars had had a DVD player in the back. :D
