My Audi A4 2.0TFSI Quattro 2009 *SOLD*
« on: 02-Mar-2009, 17:36:11 »
She was mine for almost 3 years and hit just short of 69000 km in the odo and enjoyed each kilometer. But life goes on and cars change. Today I took the A4 to the dealer and drove home with a Q5.
Bye, bye!

I am surprised that the car is not wrapped in a foil or some kind of transport kit?

What this car needs are some nice BBS Le Mans wheels :) But overall very nice car - love those headlamps.

oh yeah and strange numberplates you have in finnland ;)

Very nice black Audi B8 A4 2.0T, it looks very high class in that color.

I really like the shape of this new A4, the new interior and all the LEDs lights are a must. Congrats !  :good:

Congrats mate! It must be quite desperating to have your car there in Finland ready for you... and you living thousands of km away in sunny Singapore

But do they keep the cars out there in the wild? With temperatures below -10ºC and snow all winter long? :nutz:

I'm sure the car has now winter tyres under it. They will change those 17" wheels in before I get the car. That is of course if the weather is suitable from summer tires and I doubt that it is.

They don't have room to store the cars indoors. Some time before the customer comes to get the car, they service it, wash it and drive it indoors to wait.
And yes, it is getting more and more agonizing now that I have already seen the car in pictures :nutz:

I am surprised that the car is not wrapped in a foil or some kind of transport kit?

I have never seen Audis delivered to the dealer so I don't know if they use those white plastic foils or not. I suppose they don't use. That's just Finland!

I'll be in Finland on 27th March around 14:05 when the plane lands. I hope I'll be driving the car before 17:00 that same day. :D

^ Where did you come up with that picture? The rims look very good to me, but are a bit pricey.
