Took my baby to the first oil change yesterday with 20817km in the clock.
New oil filter, fresh oil and work equals to 142€. God damn that's expensive!

first oil cange after 20817k?...isn't that a lot of km? Do you use the VAG Longlife service? I would advise you to use a better oil, and do the change every 15.000km instead. Much better for the engine, especially with the weather and roadconditions of Finaland and other nordic contries. ;)

€142,-

The volvo also got it's service last week.
New oil-, air-, fuel-filters, oil change, some other minor things, €400. They also had to change the additive for the DPF, €90 excl tax.

Yes, I have the Longlife program and the car was still asking me to change first oil at 30000km so I was early in that sense. I will keep the change frequency shorter than the car is asking. Winter weather with the old oil is not good for any car.

What oil are you using?

Yep, 142€. One hour of service work is already 83€ and Audi has the reputation of having costly service and spare parts. :bad:

Friend of mine took these pics during a short track day. I liked them much better than any pic I have ever taken of my car  :)
I just wish that I had washed my car by hand and not with a crappy washing line.

Trackday was very nice. I'm still being overly cautious about the car because it is our daily drive also, but I tried to push hard. I've got some learning to do in braking and downshifting. I think I did around 20 laps.
Another friend was there with his C4 S6 Avant and he pushed very hard. Front brakes were glowing red and tyres were destroyed :good: and afterwards the car war perfect. Reminded me about Skaala with the A8 at the Ring :D

My journey with this baby is soon coming to an end. The car has been in sale in Nettiauto (http://www.nettiauto.com/audi/a4/4617473) for over a week now but I've only gotten proposal to change the car. If none is willing to buy the car today then I will take it to the dealers on Thursday 15th March and drive home with a Q5.

I will miss the A4 for sure but I'm ready to take the step towards the SUVs :)

I simply wanted to have more ground clearance. It's not often I need the bigger clearance but it has bugged me many time already that the A4 was so low. Some more space was not bad either especially on the back seat.
