ARMAN's BMW 535i E34 - billi's & brembo's
« on: 19-Mar-2009, 15:22:17 »
Wow... well I have a tank now

First things first - HUGE thanx to Michal, he knows why  I owe you my friend!

Day started like this

the bus that I took to another city 100km away didnt have working wipers so the ride was pretty wild, it was snowing and raining and driver couldnt see s**t, heating didnt work too so I was frozen to the bone

Followed waiting for the seller near the bus station of the city I drove to.... for one hour lol  cause after half an hour we couldnt find eachother I asked if he is in the same city I am lol well he wasnt  I was starting to think its kind of a prank

Everything cheked again, all written down and money payed :nutz: he ordered some parts for front axel for me that needed to change plus added filters, engine oil, oil for differencial and set of belts to change so asking for some discount was out of place, nice guy.

And here it is

congrats Alex, nice ride, i hope you will take the M-badge away, looks better with only 535i on it, hope to see it on RR2009, best color for this car is black, you should lower it a little bit, maybe some 30mm springs in it.

Nice man! I think you made a good choice with going for a 5-series!

What do you plan on doing with that M badge? I'd remove it asap. :D

Congrats Alex. I'm glad you got the one with big engine. You'll thank yourself every time you step on the loud pedal. Reminds me when I was looking for an A4 1.8t and decided to buy the S4 2.7TT instead. never regretted it despite the approximately $7k extra it cost me.

Your car looks like it needs a good clean and detail. I bet it will look sharp once that is done. Also, it may be an optical illusion, your rear tires are showing some negative camber (wheels leaning inward toward the car body). Possibly an alignment may be required.

Also you could get some summer tires for your Ring adventure!

Anyways, none of these are critical - you can take your time and do it.

TY guys  M-badge have a right to be on the trunk as theres full Mpaket(it means Mpaket not that its a "M" car) in US owners call 535 model 535iM  I planned to get rid of all the badges, red part under license plate, "elefant ears" on windows(gone) and that wing, first I'd lower the front a bit and get m5 flying axes then do the rest thou.

@Sameer - I guess springs on the back are tired thats why theres negative camber, not sure thou - I will take her later to local bmw specialists they specialise on e34, e39 for a full chek-up and see what are the problems that need to be done ;)

It pulls like a bull, till 3000-4000rpm its fast but then the power kicks in(Vtec yo!) the sound is ->

I would leave the M badges on - there was a 535i m  edition sold in the UK as well.

Looks like you are enjoying driving her already. Have fun!
