MV Agusta F4
« on: 25-Mar-2009, 10:00:04 »
Well I've always dreamt of owning an Italian exotic, the cars are a bit expensive so this is the next best thing.

The sound is intoxicating - the induction roar when riding is amazing....hard to not go way too fast. Capable of a high 10sec/130+mph 1/4 mile so its more than enough bike for me! Slowly easing my way into it. The handling is amazing as expected.

Won't do much to it, got a few carbon fibre pieces on the way so it'll mainly be cosmetic changes.

Details:
750cc engine developed with the help of Ferrari (so the rumour goes)
135hp/185kg (nice power/weight ratio)
Nissin 6 pot brakes/320mm rotors
Showa forks
Ohlin steering damper
Designed by the legend, Massimo Tamburini

Congrats - it looks lovely and seems to be a quick bike. Have you got a lot of fast bike riding experience?

No I haven't, but I'm taking it easy to start with and will learn its limits on the track. Its far too fast for the road anyway I've already discovered!

The MV is a weekend toy, will hardly ride it to work....it really isn't comfortable in traffic. Got a little Audi A3 for my day to day duties.

Big respect dude! It might have more or less the same hp as my Monster, but the F4, no matter the engine, looks at least twice as powerfull :) sexiest sportbike around apart from the Desmosedici I guess :)

Good to hear you're taking the learning curve slowly- in two years time we've gotta get a pic of you doing an endo giving the camera the finger for a TAU banner

I'm not a huge fan of the Senna (dani's pic), I'll take a Tamburini or CC instead please.
