That's a good service by Volvo!
From my experience, when a car (at least the ones I've owned) crosses the 120.000 km mark, small problems start to appear every now and then. With the Meriva over 186.000 km, I'm used to it now.

Yesterday was our last trip in the Volvo, it snowed all over here and gave it a good one on the way back home from Antwerp.
The replacement is standing in the drive way, picked it up this morning.
Next month I start working 1.5km's from home instead of 45, so 2 cars is useless. She didn't like to drive the slowvo herself, it was also developing some issues, and with the annual salon of Brussels they gave some good deals. So we decided to sell both cars and get one new car, we both like.
It's a sensible car, and it's not European. Let the guessing being
(oh and it's no green ecobox or anything like that
)
And Stoffie, it's not what I've talked about a few weeks back on the phone, that one had a very small trunk so not very future proof.

Diesel with variable valve timing. Should get you in the right direction of the brand
Yes yes stoffie, i know diesel, but there aren't that many decent, new, petrol cars that don't cost you an arm and a leg in taxes and or salesprice.
Or they the horsies but none of the torquies

Some might be wrong
Yes, it's Japanese.
One day I'll make a topic, when I have some nice pictures. But with the recent snow, the roads are salted and well the car is also salted...

No, but it's sold in AWD also. And you pay a lot more if you want the AWD version.

Is it a Mitsubishi? Lancer or ASX?
BTW, why diesel if your mileage is going to be much lower now?

Stradale wins
Yep, it's an ASX Intense in granite brown, 1.8Did 115bhp 300nm 6spd (outlander sport in some country's)
We still do many private kilometers, and well I like the torque a diesel has. + they only offer the asx here with a 1.6i
Horsies are the same but torqies are only half. Taxes are the same for both.
If they would've offered the 1.5T out of the colt, chance we would've gotten that one.
I'll open up a topic somewhere in the next few days when I find some time, and also time for cleaning & pictures.
Right now it's a duotone white&brown

Cool, looks pretty nice. Design wise not too bad compared to most Jap crap.
Time to get together sometime and put down the hammer

If the old Volvo started having some issues, then it's a good thing you got rid of it. And as you say, it makes no sense having 2 cars if you don't need to.
To be honest, I had to do a quick search on Google for the ASX. I understand it's like the Nissan Qashqai, isn't it?
