My 206 1.4hdi
« on: 06-Jan-2008, 00:06:43 »
Here comes the beast \o/

12/2005, 28 000km with the 1.4l hdi developping a whopping 70hp  Reached ~178kmh on my way back from JW meet '07. Otherwise it isn't fast at all but I still enjoy driving it and that's all that matters  :)
Insurance doesn't cost that much, it's fuel efficient (5.3l/100km) and because it's still a recent car, it's more reliable and more comfortable than other student's cars

It's still full stock but I'd like to put those 15' rims once the current tires are worn out :

But even that depends on where I'll be studying in less than 2 years, if I don't need the car then there's no point in putting extra money in it.

The 206 is still a nice looking car, and the color is really brillant on yours!

The first car is always something special. You'll never forget your little Pug!

Since that 206, all the other Pugs have gone down design-wise... it doesn't look bad at all, you just need to change the wheels, but I see you already have it in mind!

Yep, if everything goes fine I'll bring her to the meet.
Just noticed that the interior looks pink-ish in the picture, don't worry, it's actually red  :nutz:

Since that 206, all the other Pugs have gone down design-wise...

Indeed, I'd only go for a 207 if it was black and RC/GTi ...

Nice and clean pug, as allready said with some rims I think this car would look even better...
They are quite nimble cars so lots of fun on twist roads even if it wouldnt hurt to have a little more power than 70hp tough... :)

Great quality pics Skyline!  :good:

Well maybe 70hp isn't that much, but this is a small car and I'm sure its still fun to toss it around. I like the looks of this car too, its got a bit of the rally-look with the hood vents and its an interesting shape.

Cool ride!

Only 70hp but its a turbo diesel right? So it'd have plenty of torque :good:

Cool little car... They cost heaps to service over here in OZ..

Unforunately not. It'd be nice to see some Peugeots running around in the States every once in a while. Straight from the Peugeot website:

As of this date, Automobiles Peugeot has no plan for resuming the sales of its vehicles in the USA or Canada.

Actually looks pretty cool. I like the 206, has some rallying pedigree. ;)

It's missing a nice set of alloys, those would really make it look good.

Unless I chip it (and reach 85hp) yours will be ahead  :nutz:

I could also put a Type R engine in it

There's the beast. :) It certainly did great in Germany last summer. Luckily it was not hit by flying sidemirrors! ;) Nice pics! Thanks! :)

Those are the 206 GTI, originally wheels

They were also in the 206 CC later on...

I could also put a Type R engine in it

You can always put a Type R badge or sticker on it. I heard it gaves you like 10-15hp... at least :P

My parents had a Peugeot 505 when I was a kid... kinda ugly, never liked it :?
