Haha a Lada looking like a Lancia Delta or something, that's pretty cool!

So...an update.
As of tomorrow, I finally get to drive my own car. 20hrs of driving classes and 1165€ later, I get a driving permit and can cruise for at least three months on my own before taking the actual exam. There are some limitations, but nothing that bothers me much.
Did some more shopping as well:
- luxe Lloyds mats with matching color to the car carpet. Had to buy them in the US because the stuff you find overhere is crap.
- a batteryless SI board, don't feel like soldering in new batteries every so often, and the current one is probably toast anyway.
And some crappy cellphone pics:
As soon as the weather is better, I'm making work of detailing the car and solving some of the minor problems.

Will do!
Just went for my first solo drive, did about 50km, and started with Anvil's 'Metal on Metal' as an initiation song
Man, that car delivers such a visceral experience. Throttle response is amazing, sound is awesome, I totally love it, even more now. And yet when it settles down, it's quiet and smooth and totally comfortable.

Three days later and 400km driven, I can say it fits like a glove. Feels like I've driven it all my life...

Don't worry, you will own that M5 one day
Can't imagine having this much fun in a modern BMW. The sound is truly exhilirating, as is the power and acceleration, even if you don't really have your foot in it. I LOVE IT
To me, the 1 year old Opel Corsa I took my driving lessons in, feels like a 25 year old bear, and my car like the snappy new one

Been driving too much lately. Already at 200€ of gas in less than two weeks, hmm...
My cousin took some pics this weekend, quickly because it was freezing cold, and did some PS on them. Turned out great if you ask me.
Car was filthy though, as this was unexpected, but has its charms I guess.

Thanks guys, I really look forward to having a proper shoot done, when the car isn't like a zitface ridden dirtbag
Saadie, still waiting for the hi-res images myself, but I'll try to remember to send you the links when I have them!

Somewhere close to Oudenaarde I think, along the N60 (if I'm not mistaken).

I'm not really at home in the world of SLR photography and lenses, but I would assume so. As said, it's my cousin that took the pictures and edited them.
