2009 Mercedes E 350 CGI Sedan- my Dad's Car
« on: 12-Sep-2009, 22:23:36 »
first photoshoot of the 95.000 € expensive new member of our family:
funny thing was, there was nothing to pick in the pricelist more, it's full, there were no other options,
it's equipped with digital radio, night vision, iPod and harman/kardon surround sound, air suspension, AMG rims, pelvis bag, single seats in the back, air ventilation in the seats, massage seats etc.

I like the pic next to the old Benz :)

That's a cool car... sorry if it has already been said... but what does CGI stands for? Is it diesel or petrol? Anyway, for that price... he could've get an S-Klasse, or a secong-hand E55 AMG! :nutz:

it's central gasoline injection like the direct injection for petrol - it's a 3.5 Liter V6 with 292hp.
It's a fully equipped e-class i think it's better then a half equipped s-class, it had to be a new car, because it's his last company car till he retires.

wow nice car mate! :good: looks good in this spec. If I remember correctly, your father also considered a 911, but thought that'd not be appreciated by his clients?

The night vision system looks pretty cool :good: but if I may ask, what's a pelvis bag? :?

Nice car! You can spend a year playing with all those gadgets :)

BTW - I priced a similarly high spec E350 in the US - it costs $66000 or Eur 44000. Shocking difference!

thanks grandpa, i drove with the night vision system, it's good, looks like a computer game if you see a pedestrian in the system, you have some marks around the pedestrian like a target scanning in a computer game, the only problem i saw, is that you all the time look in the central monitor and you don't look in front of the car.

a pelvis bag is under the steering wheel and will save your balls in case of an accident.

you get a manual with 600 pages of all the gadgets in it.

the price sounds strange, is it fully equipped ? A new 2010 E 350 CGI ?

Mercedes for President! :good: although having a bag inflated into my groin at supersonic speeds doesn't sound entirely appealing either... Does anyone know if there were many balls getting hurt in car crashes, before the invention of the pelvis bag?
