Some clips from the other night. You can hear the Dinan muffler pretty good.

The tires, I think, are the original OEM tires. Not much mileage at 15k, but 7 years old! They're all hard and don't grip worth crap. I plan to change them next year when the weather gets better...so I don't mind smoking these out.

I figured these were the tires that came with the car.. Amazing having the original tires with the car too.. lots of fun for you until you get some new rubber!

Stan, merged your topic. One car, one topic
You can always adjust the topictitle if you want by going to the first post in your topic and edit that one, there you also adjust the title.
Cool plate btw. What does a custom plate cost overthere?
Overhere plate with 6 digits (either ABC-123 or 123-ABC) costs €620, and 5 digits (don't know the exact combo) is €874

Haha.. good one Stan.
Thamar, not sure what it costs in California, but definitely not nearly as much as you pay over seas.
In New York its *only* an extra $50 USD when registering your car for plates.

In California, if you want just a custom white one, it's $49 for the first year, then $38 per year after that. They have other ones that are for charities and can be up to about $100 a year. Those plates will have a design on them:

Okay, last thing was the exhaust. Since then, I installed the Stage III Dinan suspension: Koni adjustable shocks with custom Dinan valving, Dinan custom springs, adjustable front anti-roll bar, and camber plates. I also got a front strut brace and the Dinan wheels: 19x10 in the back and 19x 9.5 in the front...only 20lbs each! Disgustingly light. I like them a lot. Just put on the Hankook tires that rated really well under C&D testing:
http://www.caranddriver.com/reviews/comparisons/09q2/tire_test_nine_affordable_summer_tires_take_on_the_michelin_ps2-comparison_tests/hankook_ventus_v12_evo_page_10
Here's the car now:
The car is pretty much done. I don't plan on doing anything else. Maybe powdercoat the wheel centers to a gunmetal in the future, if they get damaged and need repair anyway...and maybe other stuff, but only if I can find good deals on it (throttle bodies, intake, short shifter). Otherwise, I'm pretty happy with it now...the most important to me was the suspension. I bit on the wheels because I needed new tires soon, and figured, if I was going to get wheels, it should be now, rather than after I get a set of tires for the OEM wheels. So, I found a decent deal and went for it. New, the Dinan wheels are bloody expensive.
So, for a LOT of money, I bought a nice "Dinan" badge...but it came with a lot of free parts!
