looking good!

the color is just excellent ..

the rear lights would suit a white car more .. the contrast on your car makes it look like an autobot  :D :good:

got to love factory lights..... there is a cheap DIY that you can paint the brake section and the surrounding clear reflector and it looks 500% better.

Lowering sure, I am looking at the Perrin Suspension combo (H&R springs, two way adj. front sway bar, and 3 way adj rear sway bar with adj. endlinks). But as for wheels I am thinking maybe smaller so I can get some more rally/all terrain tires on it.

whats the difference in driving Scooby and Cobalt? Congrats :good:

I don't think night and day comes close to the differences. The power in the WRX is insane. I haven't really tested the grip/brakes but I can feel the AWD working when I give it gas coming out of a corner. But so far the only 'bad' thing is the warm-up/cool-down and MPG. Other then that, this is a better car in every way by far and away.

Specs & options?
We don't know that version over here...

Congrats on the car ;)
But that rear end needs some work, lights & letters...

yeah I like the hawkeye the best (the gen. before this one) but you can't turn away from mid 13s in the 1/4 mile stock.

Oh man that is just such a baddass looking car! I did'nt like the new body style at first but now I really do dig it! There is a guy who works near me who has the STi version and it is waaaay cooler in person than the photos I initially saw of this car. I dont know about your model but the best mods I did to my STi follow:
*Proper Allignment! The guys at my dealership race a beautiful 2005 STi and they are pretty savy about set up. I told them I was having understeer issues (not just from amatuerishly surprising the car on turn in, but genuine understeer), they did an allignment which transformed my car immediately! The best $80.00 I ever spent :good: :good: :good: :good:
*Installed an adjustable Whiteline sway bar in the rear  :good: :good:
*Installed a Whiteline Rear strut tower brace  :good: :good:
*Popped for a Cobb Tuning Access Port, that thing was AMAZING!!!! :good: :good: :good: :good: :good:
*Installed a divorced wastegate downpipe which was the only exhasut mod, I wanted to keep it quiet.  :good: :good:
*installed a Cobb Tuning Intake & Airfilter.  :good: :good:
*Those two mods allowed me to go to Stage 2 with the Access Port  :good: :good: :good: :good: :good:
*Goodrich Stainless Brake lines and decent pads... :good: :good:
Voila!! It is great on the road and good on the track. It is quiet but very fast which is really bizarre on a track day! Keep good tires on it and keep the fluids fresh; don't do silly full throttle launches and destroy your clutch prematurely and you will love that Car for along time!!!
ENJOY it Man!!!!   :snap:
CONGRATULATIONS ;)

thanks for the info. but.............. at the meet I was at yesterday, there was a 2009 with a Cobb stage 2 (off the shelf tune), no cat downpipe, and Perrin TMIC. and we raced my 4th (3Krpm) to his 3rd and 4th. and I stayed a fender ahead of him the whole time.

So I am not to sure just yet, I haven't read enough just yet.

looks god in that colour!
you'll have some fun in the snow for sure! :D!

I have already had fun in a wet/winter slush field
