Oki dokey! The date is set... and it's the 26-27th June. So... time to start discussing what and what-not to do.

Who's in?!

I propose a reasonable (we did it before) schedule to start up the discussion:

Friday 25th:      arrival Stuttgart area, overnight stop in Hotel Gl?ck, dinner in brewery
Saturday 26th:  to be discussed visit (museum, tuner, ...), drive to N-ring, few laps until NS closes, we stay in Hotel zur Burg as last year, dinner in ?

Sunday 27th; NS full day, dinner for those who stay one more night
Monday 28th: individual departure

Me likes the plan. But since yeckmohr won't attend the event this year, we're more flexible to meet somewhere else... like Munich (BMW museum and Welt) or somewhere else in Germany, to visit a tuner.

What about staying in Pistenklause? They had free wi-fi as far as I remember, while the Zur Burg hotel didn't...

13-15 of August is the AvD Oldtimer Grand Prix in N?rburg. I can after a few visits there strongly recommend it. Lots of amazing classic race cars, and almost all races are on the grand prix track, so plenty of driving on the Nordschleife. Me & Dr.Lovejoy will be there :good:

Team Catalonia met the other day to discuss our presence in the RR10.

Thursday 24th is public holiday here, and friday is one of those "bridge" days that everybody gets off work. Thing is: there a MASSIVE BMW E30 M3 euro-meet... and my brother is attending with a bunch of friends. They're all going on thursday, and I'll join them.

My plan is to drive with the GT Turbo... if it works. Otherwise, I'll do it... with the Meriveyron

We'll stay in the same Hotel zur Burg as every year, with the difference that they'll leave on sunday around 11:00 and I'll leave on monday... on my own  This means that my brother will only be with the TAU crew on saturday evening (he's planning to rent a car half-day just for that evening) and a couple of laps (or may be more) on sunday mormning before leaving.

I'll stay the whole sunday.

The problem is that I'll be at the Ring already on friday. If you decide to plan something for saturday morning (as we do every year, and for some reason, I also miss it every year) and it's not far from the Ring (250km at most) I'll try to be there.

Dani, if you want you can make a pitstop here at our place on sundaynight.
I don't have to work on monday...

Any other plans/ideas on what to visit on saturday?
It's getting closer and I think it will be wise to start planning a bit more...

Thanks for the offer Thamar... but your place is not really on my route

I agree that we need to start planning the trip otherwise it will be too late. So... what can we do on saturday?! As I said, if it's not far from the Ring (250 km far, I mean) I can consider driving down... may be with Thomass...

It's a bit quiet in here, isn't it?

Well guys. What are you up to? Any plans for saturday morning? Do you know if there's a VLN race that weekend? Are you planning to stay in Stuttgart, even though Christian won't join us this year? Any tunner/factory/museum to see on saturday morning? Who's finally IN and who's not?

So many questions... :)

there won't be a VLN that weekend
http://www.vln.de/

don't know what happens Saturday during the day, Touristenfahrten are only possible after 5pm, hence no need to be there too early (unless a cool event takes place on NS)

Staying in Stuttgart area Friday night sounds good to me, we could visit the Sinsheim/Speyer museums, I would like to see the Buran shuttle

That sounds like a good option. Our "problem" is that we're gonna be around the Ring from thursday because there's a massive M3 E30 meeting, and my brother is (or wants to be) registered. I don't know if some of the events on saturday morning have anything to do with that...

With "only" 240km from N?rburg, I could try to meet you there with the GT Turbo. It will all depend on what's going on saturday morning at the Ring.

BTW... what about some stickers? Since MIHALS is not coming this year, sadly... I could try to have a look around here to see if I can take care of it. Who would be interested? You know, nothing fancy... just the name, the site, and Rebel Run 2010.
