2-door 4x4 coupe based on the Freelander with some green credentials and very modern looks... not bad imo

A coupe SUV? It'll be good for posing, but I think if I were to buy and SUV I'd get one with 4 doors, rather then 2. If I want a 2 door car I'll just buy a proper sportscoupe. :D

Looks cool though and I'm sure this will sale like crazy.

true, the U(tility) from SUV becomes kinda meaningless in a coupe, but it'll still have the same terrain capabilities as the freelander, aka a lot more than other small SUV's

I like Range Rover as a brand, I do like them... but with the entry level Freelander, the supercool Disco 3 and the classy Range, not forgetting the latest Range Sport... I think they're more than enough. There's no need for a new coupe-ish 2-door smaller-than-the-Freelancer SUV if you ask me... :suspicious:

What are you on about with off road capabilities and the freelander??????

The freelander  is shit to drive on tarmac and its shit to drive off road....

I know that's your opinion of it, but the fact remains that it's a heck of a lot better offroad than cars like RAV4, CRV, X3 etc...

The X3 I agree on I havnt tried the rav4 and the CRV enough to make a good enough claim on those, but beating the X3 doesnt say much really I have seen those getting stuck on a lawn....

Errr... there's the cost factor too.

I mean, if a CRV got stuck - hell, so what? It's cheap as chips. But for the price the X3 is charging - no way.

Now if this mini 4x4 is going to match the RAV4's price, AND get stuck... it's alright. If it's going to cost a premium more, then that's a joke.
