The will be dirty again very quickly but I suppose the owner can afford it It's interesting to see what it is possible to do, but never in my life I would spend so much to car detailing.

I kinda caught the detailing bug last year. I first started washing the car with the proper technique, then got a better shampoo, then cleaned every single hidden bit of the car, then bought a clay, a light polish, a sealant .. Obviously that Paul Dalton guy is in another dimension, getting his own line of products etc. it's bordering on maniac The will be dirty again very quickly
It will, but the difference is that if it was properly cleaned and sealed with a wax or some chemical sealant only a quick wash will be enough to get it clean again, the dirt just doesn't "stick" to the body anymore.

What does a car like that cost? 0.5million euro? So a detailingjob like that, €5.000 is 1% of the price of the car.
The average car costs you €20.000, a simpel hand wash, wax & polish costs you €250 at least. So in comparison we pay more for our stupid simple waxjob then the rich bloke...

It's all very pretty and sh*t, and obviously it kinda increases the car value, but I wonder, if these owners pay so much attention these details, they'll never ever drive these cars the way they were built for. They will just have them in the garage to look at them, and hopping not to loose much money in the future, or even gain some.

A good detailjob will protect the car much better and makes it easier to clean. The video I posted about the 16M is a 40 hour job and the result is great. This car will be used on the autobahn and on several race tracks! To proof it isnt a garage queen:

My thoughts exactly. Ok... yes, I'm not that emotionally attached to my crappy Meriva, therefore I'd never spend so much money in detailing. I dunno what I'd do with a GT3 or something like that. But as I always say... why cleaning the car if it's gonna be dirty in 2 days?

It's needed to clean and protect your car here, with all the salt they trow on the road in the winter...
