Spyker, anyone?

[edit] OK it wasn't a production car, but it was the first car with 4WD (with a single engine, rather than an electric motor inside each wheel), and the first 6-cylinder engine... it deserves some credit for that, doesnt it? ;)

I tought it was known that Jensen was the first one, as said Spyker also, but same as Colombus didnt discover America, yet he gets the credit for it, Jensen is Colombus in that matter.

Jensen surely wasnt the first to put 4wd in a car, but it was the first normal/modern type of car, even a sports saloon with 4wd, and not an all-terrain vehicle. It also had ABS which was rare..
check up un 4wd vs. awd here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Four-wheel_drive

I love the shape of the Jensen!!

Didn't know it was the first AWD car - guess Audi was the one that took full advantage of that system...
