Cool Car Wrap
« on: 23-Feb-2010, 19:40:36 »
I wonder how much they charge you for doing this, and how long it takes...? Pretty cool to see these guys in action too, they make it seem so easy. Even though I think its pretty cool, I think it would probably get old after a few times.

A guy whom I sold sportseats to his E30 put black matt foil on her, looks quite cool.
The car is still in the progress, so he will push it down a bit, make a whole new interior etc... he's in his middle age, has money to spend, it's just his fun car :)

Yeah, I would probably never do this to a daily driver, but it might be fun on something you have as a weekend toy. I've never seen this stuff in the US before... :?

Im sure you have, vinyl wraps have been around for some time.  Its a good and cheap alternative to an actual paint job, especially any matte color.

Talking about vynil wraps... today in Geneva I've seen a Panamera and a Conti GT, both in black matt finish. One word: Awesome!

Yeah, I've definitely seen vinyl wraps on cars, but they have all been for businesses/advertising. I had just never heard of regular people getting this done
