:-o amazing stuff and a nice find. Too bad they had no front facing camera or more shots from outside.
Looks like francois still knows how to drive quick :D.

Can anyone translate what he is saying when talking to his cellphone?

He's saying that he hasn't got his "beep" (beeper ?) cause they called him at the last minute, he wasn't ready, he hasn't got that beep, he'll have to go back home, that at the moment he's in a rally stage, that they're making a film  ;)

Fantastic!!! I never considered that the reason Porsche's are not participating in Rally could be political!!!  Someone needs to start a petition or letter writing campaign to allow Francois Delecour to race a 911!!!!! Even if he drove around outsided the top ten it would be amazing! Just to see a 911 rallying! Shout at the WRC!!! Shout at Porsche!!!

**Oh and Delecour has a pretty cool EVO Road car there!! What kind of Michelins tires were those, anyone know?  I think a cool thread would be photos of the personal daily driving cars of professional racers (car and bike racers).

Cool find! I'll have a look later... but indeed, I'd love to see more GT3 RS in rallying. They're fantastic to watch and to hear! :good:

From the camera POV we are able to feel even more the speed around the corners...for sure some clip featuring the road in front will be appreciated.  ;)

Dude this ''old French chauffeur'' is the famous French rally legend Francois Delecour. I remember his driving technique, he was always on the edge, it seems that he was never afraid to crash the car to reach the limit...that's a frightening thing to know for all WRC navigators. This is the main reason why Chris Harris was scared with him on this public road.

At the end of the video, what kind of tires (Michelin's) is Delecour sporting on his EVO?

Awesome video! There must not be many cops around there to drive like that! It really does give you a good sense of the speed and craziness of the RS, even though you can't see the road or the speedo...  :good:
