DANI ... I am angry ... I thought           I           was the coolest person you know.  :bad: :bad: :bad: :whip: :whip: :whip:

Driving a Ferrari is a magical experience. The sound, the ambiance, the steering feel ... hard to find another marque that replicates it. :)

Good for you!

  • Drive something amazing, while you still can!
Great story, you can really sense your enjoyment throughout!

One of my dreams is to drive a Daytona 365 GTB/4 one day...like that's ever going to happen...

Well, I thought I'd never drive a Ferrari... and now look... a Stradale! ;)

Thanks very much indeed Dani!

Just this afternoon Skaala and I discussed the pricing and running costs of a 996 versus a 550, 456 or 355
( on german plates garaged in Germany but paid with norwegian money )
 - and agreed that a 996 is more reasonable......................some 2nd thoughts came up after reading you report.

In my days motorracing was very dangerous - and sex was safe.

Speed never killed anybody, but suddenly becoming stationary.....

It's what I've said: if I had the chance to buy one, that would be a 911. Better car to live with IMO.

But given the chance to drive a Ferrari, I have to say the experience it's quite something... and I have the feeling that I wouldn't come out of a GT3 RS with the same satisfaction as in the Stradale

Last Sunday I finally had the chance to take my own wife on a ride in the Challenge Stradale. She has been in the passenger seat of a 355 GTS and 550 Maranello before but now it was time for something diffrent

We drove for about 15 km's on the highway and some B roads. Ass we passed under some viaducts we had the chance to enjoy the engine sounds at its best.

During the ride she wasnt sure if she loved it or to be scared like shit as it is such an intense experience to drive this machine. Afterwards she told me she really liked it, she was amazed by the amount of attention and reactions you get from other road users. I am pretty sure I pleased some of them with screaming sound of this brutal machine :)

It seems that you've been driving this car more than Marc lately! :good:

Glad your wife liked it! What's next, now? Your kids? :)

pterps, your wife looks very pleased in the pic, that's a good woman who isn't mad about how loud and hard riding the car is!  :nutz:
