Ferrari Veluwe Meeting

After visiting many Ferrari meetings organised by friends of mine, it was time to organise something together with my friend Marc. We organised a 200 km trip from Zwolle (where I live) to a Ferrari Dealer in the East part of Holland. (Munsterhuis in Hengelo).

Focus was on driving the best roads of a national parc called 'De hoge Veluwe' in the center of Holland.

We gathered at 8.30 in Zwolle and we planned to leave around 9.30

We left a bit later as one of our friends got pulled over by the police doing well over 110 in a 70 km/h zone. After he arrived and we cheered his girlfriend up a bit. We left for the drive. We made some roadmaps by scanning a real road map and painting the route in the map with Photoshop. We thought it might be a good idea to let everyone navigate on a map again as we all got used to using a navigationsystem in our cars.

During this drive we went to a castle called 'kasteel staverden' owned by some guys I met last year during a charity run. They allowed us to use this location for some photo's of all participants.

We ended this meeting at the Ferrari dealer in Hengelo where we had dinner in the showroom between a lot of nice exotics.

It was a great experience to organise a meeting like this. Everybody was really enthousiastic and we had to promise to organise another event next year

During this meeting: 21 Ferrair's, 2 Astons, 1 Lambo, 1 Porsche and 2 Delta Integrale's. (and my Seat Exeo ofcourse....)

Great meeting you and Marc put together! Impressive array of cars. The non-Ferrari cars too!
Which roads on the Veluwe did you take? I assume you were on the northern part. No speedbumps there?
The southern part also has some great roads I can recommend (Beekhuizerweg for instance), but the drawback is that there are quite a number of speedbumps. Oh well, gives you an excuse to accelerate hard afterwards...

@ MIHALS: check the background on the pics of the BB and the DBS. Seriously, Peter, we do need proper pics of the Exeo...

Nice pics Peter, what I like especially is the fact that its not all just expensive ferrari's, also other brands and quite desirable cars like the Intergrale. Somehow just fits very good!

I see most of the Ferraris are the same that drove to Italy last May!
