I'm sure Paul takes the cake in the vintage cars class. Very impressive list! :good: I guess work benefits are good on growing the list. :)

I wish I would have saved the list I made when we had this topic back on JW   I may have it somewhere at home, I'll try and rack my brain this weekend to come up with something.  Paul definitely has me beat on the vintage American Muscle category.

Just in case somebody is interested, these 3 days with the Vito were really  :good:
I covered 1300 km, lot of highway, but also a mountain pass and some Montecarlo Special Stage style roads aswell. It's a huge thing, but quite agile in fact, and those 440 Nm are really something coupled with a brillant and quick auto tranny. At a stop light in town, thanks to its sleeper look, nobody stood a chance!

On the highway I saw 190 km/h on the digital speedo, with the Tom Tom confirming 183 km/h, which is remarkable as there were some more revs. I guess it could reach 200 km/h! And even accelerating from 140 km/h up is impressive.

Thanks to the brillant engine, I had no difficulties in following a crazy slaloming F430 Scuderia in Milano's rush hour yesterday!

The braking is very good aswell. even in the mountain, the brakes never fade (but consider most of the time I had an empty van, so very light).

Driving position and ergonomics are top notch, and even driving 600 km with no stop was easy, thanks also to the tempomat of course.

The two lateral sliding doors are really helpfull in loading different things, and when emptied, it's nice to be able to leave the van from the backdoor when you had to sneak in a narrow parking place ;)

Oh yes, as pointed out by Vicki in her Brabus mercedes van test, the traction control is annoying because it really totally cuts the engine, and on a cold and wet mountain road, the rear really wants to get loose on any corner basically. So the traction control really slows you down...

A 70 liters tank gave me around 620 km of spirited driving. I am sure you can stretch that to 700 km by not driving like a lunatic :)

Anyway, all in all, I was very happy with this Mercedes van and its brillant engine.
