Switch to yellow lights for the fogs. That's a big difference when it's terrible weather...
Only a mobile pic, but you get the idea BBS sent the wrong spacers (12mm) instead of 15mm, so you can see the tires are a bit to far back in relation to the wheelarch. No clearance problems, so it is fine to use until BBS sends the correct ones.(Image removed from quote.)
but it looks better now then on the sale pics from the first day
Looks awesome Skaala!!!!!!!!How different is the tread on snow tyres compared to your normal summer tyres?
Snow tires have tread patterns specifically designed to dig down and bite into snow and ice, plus they are made from much softer rubber compounds that retain their flexibility in cold weather, allowing the tire to better conform to the surface of the road. (Regular tires tend to get hard and brittle in cold temperatures.) As a result, winter tires keep a better grip on snowy and icy surfaces than regular all-season or summer tires. Grip is critical -- not just to avoid getting stuck, but to ensure that the car can stop and steer. Life-saving safety technologies such as antilock brakes, electronic stability control and all-wheel-drive cannot do their jobs if the tires can't maintain their grip on the road surface.
^^^^I just put my new Nokian Hakkapeliita R last weekend, so now I'm ready for the Nordic winter !!! All my friends have Nokians tire on their WRX, A4, etc...my previous Pilot Arctic Alpin were too slippery, that's why I changed. I heard the only problem with Nokians is they don't last many winter seasons. It's a chance I'm not doing a lot of KM during the winter because they are very...I mean very soft. It's sad that I can't put studs on my winter tires, because it's forbidden inside the underground parking building at the job. It's white epoxy finished so no studs there. You can't realise how I'm jealous of your car buddy, keep up the good work to mod it...we all know that you have good taste for this purpose. Good choice those BBS CH, I had the same on my 2000 Audi A4 1.8T (19x8.5) I was using 235/35/ZR19 tires on that. Like Dani said they are one of the best wheel ever ! Can't wait to see next ! Cheers
