Will those pads be noisy skaaaaaaaala?   :?

nope, they are not noisy :) :good: and the bite cold or warm is just fantastic. Exceeds anything I have tried earlier :rally:

the neverending story continiues...

new strengthened mount for the rear diff and diff bushings from Apikol/ JH Motorsports
http://jhmotorsports.com/shop/catalog/apikol-rear-diff-mount-polyurethane-b4b5-chassis-p-49.html?osCsid=7e5b04bd6eb331e235e6511d55d7bc84

only trialfitted the mudflaps, but it looks like the fit will be perfect. Will be a good help to protect the paint/foil during the winter.

yes, but due to the holiday season, there were some mixup in the company that were to put it on. I had to cancel my appointment, and will have to rescedule in september

wow, somehow I managed to completely miss this entire topic for the past year!

awesome car! :good:

regarding the colour, sorry but matte black was cool in 2005, but not anymore (and no darkel, it's not timeless :P at least not in my opinion  )... my choice would definitely be matte orange!

^^^^I saw this S4 B5 Avant featured on Fourtitude at the Waterfest 2011.  :nutz:

Bro you have better taste than that. Please don't do the Bundeswehr foil edition.

After rethinking...it can be a good option.

But matte black or matte dark grey are my best colors.  :good:

well... matte army green could be nice for a week or so, but longer? i guess not...  but the wheels and the low stance are a no go on the car above. it doesn't suit to the RS4 imho.

Snowtires and wheels in planning now. Selling my BBS CH from last year because I need min. "19 with the new brakes.
Looking at

OZ Racing Superturismo LM 8,5x19 in Gunmetal

Or OZ Racing Ultraleggera HLT 8,5x19 in Gold

actually...after they are now properly bedded in....there are some slight squealing just before stopping the car and while parking, but not so loud you get tired from it.....now I dont mind anymore :)

The OZ Racing Superturismo (Gunmetal) wheels have my vote !   :good:

They seem to be easy to clean during winter.

Those are tempting. Actually, I've always been a HUGE fan of those. But I'm not sure how they would look on an RS4. :?

i guess it's time for a proper photoshop to clarify that.

i like both wheels - but i guess the Superturismo will be much more practical concerning cleaning during the winter (salt, dirt,...)

Black matt OZ Racing Ultraleggera HLT it is. They are much lighter and stronger than the Superturismo ones....strong wheels can be an advantage with the roads we have here :)

Did a trackday a few weeks back, took lots of pics and tried out lots of different camera mounts, but fucked up the microphone placement. Going back to this track on october 8th...will try to find a better spot for the mic then :) Got 3rd place in Class A  (under 3,5kg pr hp) never having driven the track before...my lines are not so good

Finally have snowtires on the car, any moment now it should start snowing.

Went for 8,5x19 OZ Racing Ultraleggera HLT with 235/35/19 Nokian Hakkapeliitta R studless snowtires. Come on winter!

No other news regarding the car, still running like a bull. Did a new trackday at Rudskogen with Porsche dealer Ferdinand Motor.Mostly Porsches on the track, but also some other treats like ZR1, Exige, S3, Focus RS, F430,R8, RX8, SLS, etc. Mr. Koenigsegg was supposed to bring the new Agera but was a noshow...guess the car broke down.

Some pics here:
http://www.ferdinand-motor.no/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=329&Itemid=1

Onboard video here: (have sorted the sound now, but still not perfect)
Audi RS4 - Ferdinand Motor Rudskogen 08.10.11

Was able to keep the F430 behind me on the straights, but was outbraked every time (6:05) but no chance in hell to keep up in the twistys. Whole Porsche field overtaken at 7:50 :)
