haha, I've edited the post now.
I still think you and Schwalbe should come to Norway the week before (very cheap direct flights from New York and Munic to Oslo with SAS!) and then join us to the RR

It would be a very nice option, the only problem is we are used to know from you that Norway is insanely expensive, so for the price of only one week there I can do a trip around the world for one month.

Just another example, the other day a read on FB that Dr. Lovejoy paid +200 euro for a 0 Star hotel in Norway  :nutz:

hehe, It is expensive yes....but you stay at my places....plenty of space. No charge. The hotel the Dr lived at isn't that bad

Thanks for the generous offer buddy, for sure I will evaluate this option because I always been fascinated by your Viking country...and mostly because we had so much fun with the Norway team during RR2009.  :D :good:

checked the date for the supercar (invitations go to clubs/dealers from AM, Bugatti, Bentley, Ferrari,...,...,...,Lamborghin, Pagani,...)  event in St.Moritz - it's the weekend 24-26.June

hence one week earlier would be great - FRI 17. - MON 20th.

Depending on the dates I might join this year as well. Which would make it my first ever Rebel Run.  :good:

Anyway, I guess I'd need to figure out some way of getting to you guys from the airport, unless someone wants to pick me up in Tallinn? :D

No problem Martin in picking you up at any airport! Frankfurt-Hahn is not far from the Ring, unless you want to fly directly to Munchen or the first rendevouz point.

Or I can pick you up at Brussels or Charleroi in Belgium.

Airport Cologne-Bonn is also a possibility. It's about an hour by car to the Ring.

Sounds great, thanks guys.  :good:  Once we know a bit more about possible dates I'll start checking what the cheapest/most direct place to go is.

I hope to be there in 2011 (booking the saunaroom again). Somebody knows when they announce the dates for the touristenfahrten?

if we found a gearbox with longer ratios (now the top-speed is around 180 km/h).

Visiting Audi-land in Ingolstadt. Now that I see it, it's not far from Munich, so we could also visit the beemer muzeum...

In case you are searching some S14 parts (diff/gearbox) just gimme a call - should be no big deal finding one.

If some of you want to visit bmw museum/bmw world I can give you a little tour. Been there several times. Untill june the museum has to offer 15 of 17Artcars ever made.

thomas, there is no team germany or am i a member of team canada with my wife again ???
it's a must next year for me after missing this year !!

me is team germany :D I am not that confident with the austrian flag on my car =)

RR11 will be more expensive...

Track fees hiked at the Nürburgring

Track fees are going up at the Nürburgring circuit in Germany for the 2011 season.

Still, it may come as a surprise to most that the Nurburgring is open to the public for a fee of $32 (€24) for single lap around the full length of the track - known as the Nordschleife or Green Hell with 170 curves and measuring 25.378 km/15.77 miles in distance.

That's up from a single lap price of $29 (€22) this year.

Yes, the track at the Nürburgring can be used by anyone when it is not reserved by automakers for testing or for other racing events. There's also a Ring Taxi for those who want a rush but don't trust their own skills.

For a fee of $119 (€89) you get four laps and it includes a meal ticket for the on-site restaurant and a free entry to the Ring Werk Museum.

A 15-lap package can be had for $415 (€310), 25 laps will cost you $629 (€470).

A season pass is available for $1,800 (€1,346).

Not yet. First we need the Nürburgring to publish the event dates and the opening hours of the NS for Touristenfahrten. I just checked and they're not yet available.

Are you planning on joining the Team Netherlands this year?
