I've had the L for a few months now
L series lens are the bomb!

the sharpness the clarity the smooth zoom and focus and the built quality

I just got the cam  took a few pics of mom with it to make her happy haha
I'll keep posting pictures every now and then :)

what equipment do you have?
last I remember you had a 450D and a 70-200 2.8L ?

yep, sadly still 450D, 70-200 4 L (yes, only f4), but mainly, Canon EF-S 17-55mm f/2.8 IS USM. this lens is as great as the L models, just not water and dust proof. pics are katana-sharp, I'm very happy with this lens :)
next step would be 7D, but I need to save some money first... :)

f4 is still a really really good lens and perfect for automotive photography imo.
I got the 60D only because my camera has shot over 120 thousand images, too much dust on the image sensor(which i cleaned off just yesterday and is like new now  ) and ISO and burst  performance, the extra mega pixels are gonna help aswell, andd i've started doing short films with a fre friends who have 7D's an extra camera was needed so i thought I might aswell get it
this is hopefully temporary tho, I want to shift to a full frame, 5D mark III is my aim, its gonna be expensive tho

I wish I could do automotive/motorsports photography like you guys do, theres no nice cars here :(
