Nice! Looking forward to the Spring too.. I've gotta start doing the same maintenance as well.. not even sure when the oil was changed last (but PO said it was fine) and my brake pedal is getting spongy. Rear tires are showing more wear than the fronts, probably wont last much longer.

I like the way you maintained a photo log of all the developments. Very cool! The car sounds real good too!

Last tuesday we got last snow here...
I was outside the town in a small restaurant for a dinner, it was nice, dry, sunny day. about 2 hours later, when I left the restaurant, there was cca 3cm of snow and was still snowing like a hell
I already switched my wheels for summer ones, so you can imagine, how a RWD car on summer tires behave
I went 30 and it still was too fast to manage get into a slide and wreck into the curb
so, the wheel needs to be fixed (not a major issue, just a bit damaged), but the wheel fell back on the wheel arch, so that means I need to get a new one and also the wishbone needs to be replaced, it got bended
so today I got a time to cut out the part of the wheel arch to get to the service on the weekend - my friend works there, so I'm quite lucky I can do it myself with a pro tools with the car lifted. the wheel arch was rusted anyway and I wanted to re-paint it. now I found it would be useless
I feel totaly useless wreck the car in that slow speed...
I'm lucky I have to change "only" the wishbone and wheel arch, I could have the M3 shocks broken too...
here some pics
when I left the restaurant
from today

I feel bad for you, Michal!
It really sucks. Good luck with the repairs!
Two years ago I was in the same situation with my E36: sudden snowfall in the middle of the night, summer tyres, no traction control.
I had great fun drifting on the deserted streets of a business park, but it could have ended in tears if I had overlooked a curb.

yesterday we fixed the car - couldn't wait anymore to take her for a ride again
bended wishbone - the angle should be opened, not closed
back on the wheels - now I'm waiting for the new fender to be painted (we also adjusted the cutted fender a bit to not make any injuries from the sharp edges - not on the pics)
the guy who will paint my fender had a BEAUTIFUL 370hp Alpina 635i on the 285/40 17" wheels on the backyard
- he says it's not possible to feed her with the hungryness of 30l/100km, so he will put her back to the mint condition and send back to Germany for about 18.000Eur - there already is a buyer
it has a sat nav, air con, fully electric...
