Completely agree, the F355 is one of the best sounding cars ever made. I don't know if it's just me... but I have the feeling that they've tried to replicate the same sound in all the next V8 Ferraris. Only the 360 CS and the Scuderia come close IMO.

Thanks for the vids, I don't remember they've been posted before... :good:

Great sounds, and for me as well, the F355 is one of the best sounding cars, although I can think of a few others. All modern Ferrari's sound like crap to me, what's up with that 458 ? Sounds like a souped up 4 pot, yeck.

Yep, I'm liking the F355, and the Murci & Zonda are music to my ears, you can't beat 12 cylinders!  :good:

I'm sorry to say I agree, honestly even the 360 CS sounds like a bit like a souped up Civic (but really that's the video, I've heard them in real life and they sound a lot better). The 458 sounds better than the 430, which is the worst, but it still doesn't sound great. It sounds way too 'manufactured' or 'fake' it's hard to put your finger on it...
And the 997 turbo, well that sounds like the most badass washer machine you've ever heard!

An old (ancient?) vid, but a fantastic sound:

Great find mate !! I also love the 355 sound, no other V8 Ferrari succeed to make such great noise after or before ... The other best sounding Ferraris are (for me) the F50 with special exhaust (MS racing) or the 599 GTO/FXX.

Of course the Porsche sounds like crap, it's turbo-charged. Add a 997 GT3 RS to the bunch and it's a completely different story!
For me the Zonda F wins this competition hands-down. Nothing beats a proper V12! The 355 sounds fantastic as well, it's a shame all the newer V8 Ferrari's sound very disappointing compared to that! I don't know what Ferrari were thinking. And it's not just in the video.. I've heard them all in the flesh and I wasn't impressed.

Now had this been a topic about best induction sounds, I'd have definately mentioned the E30 M3 with airbox yeah..
But this is about exhaust sounds and ITB's don't do a whole lot for that. I will add this though:
